New company car trouble.
So Monday they took my 2.0 petrol turbo 178k mile 2006 astra off me and replaced it with a newish 1.9 Cdti automatic 41k mile 2008 jobby. Wednesday morning after just driving it 100 yards, went to start it and 'click', nothing. Figured it was a battery or a fuse but they checked out ok. Anyone care to guess what the RAC man did to start it?
Quick tap to the starter with a big spanner and it starts up. So I take it back to the office and tell them the starter needs changing and they give me yep, my old car back. Brilliant. Got the diesel back now and it seems ok so far, haven't got used to driving an automatic yet, keep going to change down and stamping on the brake and putting the thing into bloody neutral! Tsk... |
Re: New company car trouble.
Landy does that all the time. Theres a switch or connector on the bottom, and being where it is, gets exposed to a lot of sh1te at this time of year....spanner and a quick tap, away you go. All it needs is a pygmy to climb in and clean it up and lube it then all will be fine!

I'm not a pygmy....I'm a long legged female :)
Perhaps I should rephrase it to small child lol |
Re: New company car trouble.
Haha fair enough, I'm sure there's no child labour law against that kind of thing anyway...
