Broken Speedo Sensor

Right well silly me put the front wheel in a tad hastily the other day and then wondered why the hell my speedo said 0 when i was clearly not at a standstill :D

After taking the front wheel out once i got home, i found that the teeth on the inside of the speedo sensor were broken.
Ive had a search about the internet and found the bit i need, thank god i dont need a whole sensor as theyre about £70 but i found that i can just get the little magnet/rotor thingy, more specifically part number 34983-21E00

So does anyone know where i can pick one of these up? I know that gluing the teeth back on is possible, but not with mine, its proper dead basically. Ive trawled across the internet and only found US stores where the shipping will cost double the cost of the actual bit which isnt really worth it.

Oh and ive also seen that different years has different parts or the speed can be read as double. Mine is a 2004 pointy.

Cheers in advance

Pop into your local Suzuki Dealer, and get them to order one in for you. You'll have to collect it once it's arrived, but it's better that ordering from overseas or ask a few salvage places. Give SV spares a try.

Try www.suzukiscooterspares.co.uk. They're a useful resource. The speedo rotor's about £24.

Thanks for your replies
I went to the local Suzuki dealer today and ordered one, was about £17+VAT so worked out at £21.something
I trawled across the internet for bits and couldnt find anything that was for the year i have or without it coming from america and costing and arm and leg for postage. Robinsons foundry did the part i needed but not for the right year so would be showing incorrect speed/mileage count i believe.
