Playing basket ball on Thursday like every week........had a slight misshap and have broken my 5th metatarsal!!! looks like at least 8 weeks in cast or similar!!!

Fookin sucks, no bike just as weather is getting better, no surfing on the surf trip next month, no rugby 7's festival!!!

Cant really do anything to be honest! cant even drive my car, luckly tho work have agreed to swap my company car out for an automatic, and the insurance co have agreed that it is ok for me to drive! So thats one positive!

Did the same a few years ago, day before going on holiday. Foot went lovely purple colour. Drove my 1959 Hillman Minx from Sheffield to whitby in bloody agony, next day and spent a week hopping and limping up the bloody steps. But there was a pub 5 yards from the back door!

christ your the first normal person (i use that term loosely) ive heard has done this
normally it some ridiculasly overpaid winker footballer, and tbh i thought they just made it up to have even more time off
remember its still worth going to the seven's to see you mate getting eaten by some huge fijians lol
