BT Bill

In 30 years with this miserable ****wit condecending company I've never ever had a bill I understood.
The latest one has additions 'because I didnt pay enough for my packages last quater', discounts applied for god knows what for, and someone needs to tell these cheeky feckers that the 2.5% VAT increase does not mean that you add 2.5% to the previous VAT inclusive price, they are ripping off every customer in the land with that one.

I need a lie down

Re: BT Bill

I got a flat, signed upto BT 5meg broadband, £125 to connect and then it turned out it was only 512kb due to the distance from the exchange - new builds a half a mile from the nearest town centre? I asked at the time, since my tenancy was only 6 months, is there any chance I could be charged another £125 if I moved properties - "no problem dude, you've paid now, as a customer, you're connected to BT".....

6 months later - "oh you're moving from west yorkshire to north yorkshire......... that'll be £125 to re-connect you at your new address"....

this was after 50 minutes on hold with endless people telling me I've been put through to the wrong department. It turned out it would be £80 to end the contract there and then, then £30 to connect with virgin media for their phone/telly/broadband package which was £5 cheaper per month. I explained to the BT mongster that it would be cheaper to pay & leave them than it would be to pay & stay with them, is there anything he could do...... "nah, is it a visa debit or credit card?"

Nver again will I entertain BT. I'd rather have the flu for a month than spend an hour on hold to their customer services team.

I've never had a problem with BT for both phone and broadband, but OMG my mother has had so much grief its unbelievable, she ended up going to Sky when she got chance, and so far seem far less troublesome.

Have you done a line test (www.speedtest.net) quiff? My old man's on that package and I did a speedtest at 7pm one night (bt are ****s at peak times) and he was getting 1meg download..

He's also complaining about the ridiculous bill's that are a pain to get to grips with ...they seem to be charging him line rental on a monthly basis despite paying it all in advance at the beginning of the year and there's +£5 ,- £4, +£2, -£1 's all over his bill with no explanation so you're not alone tigersaw!
