seat cowl infill spacer thing - 08
 

Hi,

Title says it all.
Im looking at getting a custom seat cowl, but first i need to make sure i can get that silly little spacer/infill thing to go with the seat cowl.

Anyone have one for sale or know where i should look?

Preferably black but i can just paint it if not!

these are like gold dust! get a cheapo one off flebay or maybe someone will have on here.

just found this

its not just the infil plates you get a metal bracket also which replaces the grab rail.

you need both to then fit the aftermarket cowl.

(i know i bought a black cowl off gsak and had to repaint pearl white to match mine - which is now done and sitting nicely on the bike)

i thought about sending it to china and getting pattern parts made as these would sell like hot cakes!

yeh i had a feeling they would be fairly hard to come by!
you recon £30 is worth it just for the infil thing?
Im going to need to get some paint to paint the custom cowl over when i have enough dollah to get it anyway

you can always sell the cowl as a spare make a bit of money back.

all in all i think i spent £40 for the cowl and £18 for the paint and about 2hours labour.

but the sense of accomplishment once it was fitted! priceless!

I may have a set of infills going......
Just bought a new cowl with infills so will have my existing ones good to go.
