Quick action throttle?
 

Hi guys, quick question. Is there a universal quick action throttle out there that will fit my standard curvy clip ons and not cost a fortune? Has anyone got one or can recomend one?
I put an r6 assy on and it done next to nothing, the little plastic cam is slightly bigger than standard but not much.

the slightly lager cam is exactly what makes it function as a quick action, by the sounds of it you've done the mod but arnt too pleased wiht the result

Not sure if this helps but I fitted a universal QA throttle from Venhill (~£50) to my K6 pointy. Had to cut the cable to length and solder a new nipple at the throttle end but it seems to work fine (not fully tested as yet cos its fitted to a minitwin race bike which won't be racing till April. I spoke to a very helpful woman at Venhill who I'm sure can help you out. She is Caroline Whyte (caroline@Venhill.co.uk)

My mate has a honda hornet with renthal bars and a motorcross 1/4 turn quick action throttle and when i borrowed it last week i was amazed how easy it made my riding, didn't have to nearly snap my wrist to get up the revs. R6 throttle assy is not even close.

Yep all that regular hand twisting is enough to send anyone to the edge of exhaustion :wink::smt080
