enduro forks/ road forks
 
in laymans terms whats the differance betwen mx,enduro type forks and road (alla sv) forks
now im not talking the single brake disc thing in thinking internally,

ok could you for instance easily convert a sv fork into one for enduro, or a drz into a more road going one
and yc chill this is all just suposition :) i know how your mind works

The DRZ already has 2 different types of fork, the supermoto has road going forks with less travel I think, my off road 's' has longer travel forks.

Again it depends on the fork!

You can revalve an enduro type fork to make it firmer for road use, you can't go the other way as much as road forks are pretty crap compared to MX ones. Not to mention being too short and short-stroke to be much use. Then again you'd kick *rse using stock SV forks in vintage trials :-P

Take for example the showas on CRF250R, you get the impression they started with a design brief then built the best forks they could, rather than down to a price stuff on road bikes. And they are nice twin-chamber pressurised cartridge jobbies, millions of ways you could go with tuning them.
