Sunday 27th March - Cat & Fiddle

Anyone interested in a ride out to the Cat & Fiddle on Sunday?

Planning to go from the Hunsworth Pub near Cleckheaton, riding to the Cat & Fiddle via Holme Moss, Glossop and Buxton.

Google Maps

Setting off 10:30, should get to Cat & Fiddle in time for Lunch. A few runs along the Cat & Fidle - Macclesfield road, then home the way we came.

If there's time, might take add in Snake Pass and the Strines on the return journey.

Added H and detoured along the snake.

It will be horrific in the Peak District this weekend, nice weather = Tourists = 30mph everywhere

Hi Dizzy. Long time no see. You're more than welcome to come along.

Did that route the first time I did the Cat & Fiddle run. The road from Wildboarclough to Bosley is excellent. Found the A523 and Macclesfield a bit of a chore though. I prefer to use the time for runs along the Cat & Fiddle to Macclesfield road instead.

You're right about Snake Pass if the weather's good, too many dawdling tourists.
