I was able to use the silverline gasket scraping tool to take off the gasket paint that was left baked on with little effort, also i was able to use them to take off the residue carbon around the inner part of the head above the valves. After that i wiped it down with the brake cleaner soaked rag i also used the rag to clean the valves gently but i realised the valves werent that bad upon touching them so i have left them. Any residue bits from scraping were carefully removed or blown away from the valve heads.
