This exhaust hanger fit K8?
 

Afternoon chaps,

Just been browsing about the internet....as you do.
Came accross this little thing on my travels!...

Does anyone know where i could get one compatible for a k8 sv650.
The site only lists it as fitting a mk1.

I've got a high level exhaust sat in the garage waiting to go onto the bike, but now the girlfriend wants to go on the back with me....at some point.
So i need to work out a way to keep the rear footpegs on and get a high exhaust all up over my bike.

Il be honest, iv not even attempted to fit it or anything yet and stock exhaust is still on atm.

And ideas, tutorials opinons ect would be much appreciated!

Rich - I think you just need something to space the pegs off from the exhaust a bit. There's definitely some suggestions on here somewhere (try searching), however from memory they range from bits of piping cut down to make spacers or even some nuts to space them off.

yeah iv had a search through the forum but not really found anything specific,

Bit reluctant about fitting it now, if its going to be a problem with the pegs, i dont want to chop the stock exhaust and then find i have to mess about and try to make something that will keep the pegs but look messy on the back. And possibly leave the bike out of action while i get it sorted!
