Curvy Lowers

I have my old curvys spare set of lowers for sale I bought these to fix and paint but ended up buying a mint set for a good price so never bothered.

One side is fine the other has some damage on the bottom in the middle where the 3 bolts join both sides together.

The damage is not as bad as i thought it was and I have already started repairing them by fibreglassing the damage up so it pretty much just needs a rub down then tidying up with a coat of filler to smooth the finish out then re-painting.

The 2 black cone type covers are missing off the panels but I have the main metal bar radiator fixing bar 1 long metal fixing and 1 short metal fixing which does look like there is 2 short fixing points missing see posts below...

They are currently in candy grand blue but like I say will need painting

some pics are found at the links below

any questions please ask and would prefer collection really as bit bulky to post.

Looking for offers around £45

Can I recommend that you reduce the resolution on those images so that people can see the whole image without having to scroll around or resizing the images themselves.

Re: Curvy Lowers

the fitting kit consists of more than 3 parts, theres the large central bar, then about 2 or 3 smaller "posts" with flange for each side.

Yeah looking at this picture here http://www.robinsonsfoundry.co.uk/im...size=med&var=p

it looks like there are 2 small posts and one longer one

so one of the short ones is missing by the looks of it, I never thought I had the fitting kit at all as it was just a spare set, I have someone interested so will let him know about the post cheers, since there is one small post me personally i would just make another one to go on the other side they are pretty simple small plate with a M6 i think it might be hole tapped in a bit of mild steel bar welded to it, If it was the main radiator fixing mind you i would just not bother.lol

Re: Curvy Lowers

Id imagine they could be made very easily, although if a full set is quite cheap be worth looking into, like you say, one missing wont affect much, ran mine with one missing for a while.

Yeah I agree if I could buy them cheap I would save my time making them thats for sure, I was probably thinking to be honest originally that the fairings would suit someone best who already had a set but damaged them beyond repair. Just fed up with it all sitting in my spare bedroom.lol
