1.What bolts ons and easy kits can I add to get the most H.P out of a 2009 SV650S .

2. How much H.P does yours have?

3. Can you get 100 H.P out of a 650?

Re: Input on Mods

1. basics, cam change, air filter, full system, remap.
2. don't have one any more, but back when I did about 80 or so.
3. perhaps.....but for how long I wouldn't want to guess, but practically speaking no is thr right answer.

Re: Input on Mods

1) There isnt a bolt on or easy kit. Like others have already told you, changing your sprockets will increase your acceleration without major mods.

2) Standard, but BHP isn't everything.

3) Possible, but it wont last for very long.

Perhaps you should be looking for another bike with more "bhp"...

Re: Input on Mods

Easiest induction and exhaust power mods are:

-A new air filter, BMC or K&N
-A new exhaust, Full system. JHS racing in Bristol recommend an M4 full system
-A Power Commander or maybe just fuel re-map.

This would be very expensive to achieve though. I think that exhaust system is just a tadge sort of £700 and a power commander nearly £300.

One day I reckon I'll be doing these mods myself but for now I'm happy with a louder end can and a BMC filter. For now I'm upgrading suspension and brakes first... just seems the more sensible option.

The easiest way is to get the SV1000.

Hey madmax i saw you raving about your insurance quotes on other 600's. You mind letting me know your age andddd roundabout quotes on the bikes you checked?

Ive got a full race system and a power commander on my k9 svs and thats the most u will get out of it with out a lot of work and money. The power is plenty for the bike especially with standard brakes and suspension

Just keep in mind, insurance.
Im sure i read in your other thread that you got an sv650 because of the insurance costs of a more powerfull bike.
But you need to let the insurance company know about any mods you make to your bike, and im sure all the changes you want to make to increase the power are going to impact on the insurance.
