Reccomend/Sell me: Vinyl turntables
 

Ideally got my eye on some Technic 1200/1210's, but will consider others, particularly Stanton due to their uber high torque...

Equally, if you could suggest others, go for it!

for clubbing you cant beat the SL's. only thing wrong with the Sl's are the arms which go loose after a while.

Yeah the SL's seem to be the industry standard, but in saying that, the DJ I shadow at the moment uses some Stantons, and rates them pretty high too, so i'm open to offers!

stantons are just technic clones like all the rest of them.

Sl's are industry standard for a reason. they are bomb proof and you can get spares easily. they have been selling the SL line up since the late 70's early 80's so that tells you something. yes they have their problems like the rest of them but if looked after they will last.

It's SL's i've got my eye on, i've missed a few on ebay for being too slow :(

i actually want one for myself but i'll be putting a rega RB300/denon DL304 combination on it :-)

do yourself a favor and do not settle for anything but 1210's/1200's

i have two myself and use them everyday

infact one is spinning now

so i take it you'll be mixing (as your ordering two) what vinyl you looking to buy ? and from where? Im lucky being near london...plenty of record shops

I will be mixing, but not in that format, using them as timecode controls for serato!
