i want a new one but being in construction I've never had to search as its all word of mouth, i do the whole "randomly sending you CV off to companies with a letter" thing but it can only get you so far

Re: job hunting
What trade are you? Things are still far from good in the mainstream construction industry.
Do agencies not have any work? |
Re: job hunting
joinery
I've tried agencies before but it was all first fix chippying.... the way things are going im going to have to either retrain or go self employed, both have their downsides at the mo |
Re: job hunting
Try self employed Gav.
Whats wrong with first fix anyway, p155 easy, you can be rough, suit you lol You wont be able to use all your fancy machinery thats why i guess you dont wanna  |
Re: job hunting
well once you start that your standards slip ;)

Re: job hunting
Job hunting sucks. if a lot of your work is word of mouth then being self employed could be the way forward as Specialone says. You can please yourself then.
