Theory Test

I am going for my car test. I already done my Motorcycle theory and got my Full Direct Access Licence, do I need to sit my Car theory test?

Re: Theory Test

Yes.
It's stupid.
I'd had my car license for five years when I done my bike test and I still had to do a motor cycle theory test.
It's hardly any different at all.
Again, it's stupid.

Most likely yes :(

At least you know what to expect ;)

Re: Theory Test

You have to sit the theory test for each licence category,
Bike
Car
Lorry and Coach, Bus
Currently costing £31 for car and bike

Re: Theory Test

Its a frickin robbing tactic. Theres only one or two questions that are different for each specific theory test, and they don't necessarily come out when they randomly give the questions.

I wasn't happy at forking out for my car test last year, after 6 years on the road with the bike!

Least you don't have to do another CBT for the car!!!!

When I did my theory for my bike test I actually four it pretty refreshing... Most of the signs I had no idea exactly what they meant.

Yes it's a robbing tactic but if you have a good few years between your car test and bike test I don't see it as too bad a thing... But yes, they price should be much less.
