Fast Bikes Mag - Great riding routes
Picked up the latest Fast Bikes mag yesterday, it has a "Great Riding routes" supplement on the front. I thought "hmmmm, that might come in quite handy". I had a look through it last night and one of the "Great Riding routes" is the entire M25 !!!!??????? Whats all that about then, if i want a great ride ill try and avoid the M25 like the plague :smt071

Re: Fast Bikes Mag - Great riding routes
I can see the appeal... there is something amusing about high speed filtering and moving chicanes ;)
You can get an M25 ring sticker now as well ;) |

One of the bike comics did a test there and achieved ' interesting ' average speeds. [-X

Re: Fast Bikes Mag - Great riding routes
One persons idea of a "great road" can differ massively from someone elses.
The road from Fakenham to Barton Mills in Norfolk/Suffolk is a properly boring road unless you hate corners - fine if you are an R1 riding straight-line monster but for most people I know its dull... Yet it makes it onto the "Best Biking Roads" website???! http://www.bestbikingroads.com/motor...m--_20590.html |

Re: Fast Bikes Mag - Great riding routes
or is it just an elaborate ruse? Law enforcement types see a list of 'great roads', look at the weather and think "yep, that's where the speeders are going to be" and so set up their evil traps of speed. Meanwhile the rest of us play elsewhere unmolested.
All this OBL conspiracy is going to my head now, I'm off to lie down |
