Disc makers?
hello everyone.
Theres been alot of disc talk recently but all the sites only make discs for specific main stream bikes and wont make others. does anyone know of any companies that could make a disc up to a specific size ( bolt hole distances ect...) as i dont fancy doing a whole front end swap on the dr just to upgrade the disc size. thanks Brock. |
Re: Disc makers
is the hub on the front wheel not standard or used accross many other bikes?

Re: Disc makers
Standard hub but all other dr's(98 onwards ) rmx's and early drz's have 6 bolt hub and a larger spindle.
i got the special model that nothing fits =] my other idea if unable to get a disc made would be to use/ make some sort of adapter plate for a more common disc and just move the calliper out slightly when i make the relocation bracket. |

or lace a new hub onto the rim? could get a talon hub and get it laced up with the current rim? |
Re: Disc makers
new wheel wouldnt i dont believe but im sure there would be a bearing out there to make it work.
At the end of the day though id still have to buy the disc so adding a wheel or hub becomes expensive. also talon dont list any hubs for the dr350 but have been meaning to email them about that. |

Re: Disc makers
sent them one earlier although their site says they wont make individual discs only listed ones.
Cant really find anyone on the net who would make a disc atm. |
