Cake club
Well, its 4pm on a Friday afternoon. That means only one thing, its cake club! Some of the staff go home early at 4 but there are 3 blokes left in the office and around 9 months ago we decided to grab some cakes and sit quietly eating them between 4 and 5. It was the best idea. Ever!
Really finishes the week off nicely, taking it in turn to buy a round of cakes and then eating them (in my case with a glass of milk from the work fridge ;)) kind of a wind down. Anyone else got any things they do in the dwindling hours of a weekday worker? |

Re: Cake club
No but that is a awesome idea. My office is huge tho so i am not sure how well it would work....they all LOVE cake tho!

Re: Cake club
LOL, well we thought that too, but the secondary purpose is to make the couple of women who end up staying behind, actively jealous so we end up talking about it and making a big deal of these cakes.

Re: Cake club
Me and my boss often spend friday afternoons playing 'words with friends' on our iphones together. It gets really competetive and is better than work. I've only ever beaten him twice though! :(
