Not into Golf in any way whatsoever but it is a shame to see somebody battle with cancer and lose the fight , you fought well Senor , RIP .

Aye, Seve Ballesteros, his smile always beaming from the TV in my childhood!

The golfing cavalier, I find golf so boring, but my dad always loved watching him play 8)

Got his autograph when I was a teenager in the 80's, he always had time to do stuff like that & did it with a smile.

A sad sad loss.................

I lost my lovely husband to a brain tumour earlier this year. It is the worst illness you could ever imagine, takes away the very personality and soul. RIP Seve, say hi to my Rob

Really sorry to hear of your great loss, there's no words that can help... best wishes.

As to Seve; I've golfed since the 60's and had the pleasure of seeing him play many times. The TV didn't do him justice. He was awesome, and had such a rapport with the crowd - great banter. One of my golfing buddies caddied for him for a couple of seasons, including his last British Open win - some great stories.
