Powerbronze Rad Grilles (Curvy)

Hi,

Not sure if it is of any interest but Powerbronze appear to be selling off thier stock of stainless steel rad grilles for £13.50 + P&P. Im not affiliated in any way with the company just thought it may be of some use

Not got the sv650n (99) in stock. What's the difference between it and the sv650S version?

Taken from the svrider forum.

They should swap back and forth, HOWEVER- the naked radiator has 2 sideplates (one on each side of the radiator) and the S doesnt have those plates- the S has 2 small additional surfaces with holes which are the provisions for mounting the fairings.

If you have an S model, the naked radiator isnt going to work like the S radiator- you wont be able to use the rubber grommets and posts on the fairings to keep the fairing secured to the radiator.

So in short, yes they're compatable from a functionality standpoint- but they have model specific differences that may or may not interfere with proper mounting of the S fairings.

Thanks - that's what I'd hoped. Though after calling them to order one it turns out they do have N ones, they just weren't on the website! (they are now).
