World's fastest hearse
 

There's a guy local to me who's of the religious persuasion, who I bumped into today.

Anyway we were chatting and it comes to light that he's built a Triumph Rocket trike and is taking it to Elvington tomorrow to try and get into the Guinness book of records for the world's fastest motorcycle hearse.
Obviously I told him he's a fanny and he should stick a supercharger kit on it.:smt082

Ray is a cracking bloke, unfortunately he does life celebration funerals and I've seen far too much of him recently. Though he always manages to brighten up the darkest of days with the darkest of circumstances and inject some humour without crassness, a strange calling to have but a real talent for it.

I think the record attempt is on Look North program tomorrow morning, might be worth a watch for a giggle.

I picked up a business card a few years back for the busahearse, I was amazed they did things like that back then,
as for the rocket3 one, he was in the local rag a week or three back on its maiden voyage, using it in its job role.

IS Ray the same fella who pops into Robs shop....the vicar on the pan?

ahhh now, thats something I'd not picked up on. As said I'd seen the Busa hearse before, but hadn't cottoned on that the revs hearse was a proper trikey pillion carrier, even though its staring me in the face!!
