NE1?
No, not that desirable bit of Lunnun Tahn.
Is anyone spending a few days on your patch after GMIV? I'm planning on staying as much of the week as possible, based either at Applecross ( as 2009 ) or a bothy near Ullapool. Those who dont want the doubtful pleasure of meeting me have been duly warned! |

When your up there have a try at this road, its slow no where near as famous at the Applecross but I think the views are way better than the Applecross run. The wee ferry across the water in the middle is only £5. its all part of the fun. |

Re: NE1?
Thanks for that, cc - wanted to do a bit more on Skye after the shortened Applecross a couple of years ago.
It might be cheaper to stay on the ferry all day instead of filling my tank all day! And, SK - what was it about going abroad? This --> " ... so Tarn 'low* dat de Lunnuner's be all a peck ov rubbage together, but dat dey say is a ... " from Googling ' Lunnun Tarn ' WTF lingo be dat? Yes, I should have known better. |

Re: NE1?
If you do use the little ferry take ten minutes and have a look at the Otter Sanctuary

Re: NE1?
Unfortunately we took the Armadale to Mallaig ferry, which we missed, but got to watch multiple dogfighting Tornados over the Knoydart Penisula.
Airshows rock (your insides) but that was one of the most impressive things I have ever seen. Gravity deifying StarWars moves. Mo'bikes ain't the shizzle.:( |
Re: NE1?
We thought about the Malaig Armadale ferry but I thought £19 was a bit steep. but then I'm a tight bugger.
There were plenty of seals near the wee ferry, the dog was going nuts at them from on board... |
