SV650 bought.
Well guys n gals I thought I would say hello and talk a little bit about what I'm upto.
Was looking something a bit bigger than my 400 so I started looking. Was originally wanting a hornet but there wasn't many about at keen prices. Seen an add on gumtree for an Sv650 needing a little tidy - was priced well but no pictures. Contact made with the owner, i decided to go have a nosey. Seen it was a resolvable condition, so bid him a low offer and he accepted, sweet!! So here is was as I brought it home: http://tapatalk.com/mu/5adab224-5d9a-e0c5.jpg I have stripped all the panels of it and sending them down with a friend to respray. Something a little quieter. Thinking gunmetal grey?? Also need to fit new tyres, bar ends, grips, screen, indicators, hyperpro fork springs, clean and lube chain. Best places for decals? Cheers |

Re: SV650 bought.
I really like the green on that curvy as well, though normally it's one of my least favourite colours. Certainly it's a bit different and stands out, I think a gunmetal colour would be a bit bland - you'd merge into the sea of Audis on the road ;)

Keep the green |
Re: SV650 bought.
With the rest on this as the colour will keep you visible on the road and gunmetal will just blend you into the road imo (although i dont practice what i preach as mines black all my gears black but i do have a bit of white on my lid ;)). Aside from that well done on buying a curvy and may you have lots of grin inducing days with it :D
