On 20th May 1965 British police were permitted to be armed with tear gas and grenades. This was mainly to curb drunken people and deranged cycle-taxi riders in Soho (I may have misread this article).

Anyhoo, I'll be popping along after work (about 19:30) as I have the weekend off :cheers: I may even bring some homemade flapjacks...if I remember to make them tomorrow ;)

Im out in Moorgate tomorrow evening. If i can be assed to make 'the more difficult than it needs to be' journey to Frith on public Transport, then i may see you there.

How difficult can it be? Walk to Liverpool Street, Central Line to Tottenham Court Road. Get yourself down there!
