Another new member

Hey all,

Just a quick post to introduce myself.

I have always been a fan of bikes but never got round to actually passing my test. I've had a few fast cars, my favourite being my old Lancia Integrale. But bikes are a different beast.

I'm 33 and from Wakefield, West Yorkshire. I'm in the Army, based in Germany. Although I am away at the moment in Sunny Cyprus. I plan to do an Intensive direct access course the next time I am on leave. I have already made my mind up that I am getting a SV650 as soon as I pass my test.

I have been researching for quite a while and found this forum. Although I haven't participated in anything here yet, I would like to thank all those that have contributed towards it. There is a lot of very useful information here which I have found ideal.

Yay - seems to have the mentality to fit in well here!!

Welcome my deario. SV are great ( as long as I don't have to ride them)
Good luck on getting your DAS when you come back - Any idea when ??? ( seeing as its all changing again!)

Hello mate, enjoy Cyprus but don't touch the Ouzo. Especially if you have access to firearms!!
