tyre question

hi Guys,, a was on this forum a while back.. but jist tonite there i bought a curvy 650...its in amazin condition, the guy really looked after it.. but ma question is this... the front an rear tuyre has a flat bit in the middle.. like hes been running long distance,, then after the flat bit on the edges,, theres then obviously an edge,,is this normal... or jist too much straight lining that causes this.??? thanks.
