Identify this rear shock.

Having a browse through ebay looking at rear shocks.

Found this one:

Linky

Doesn't look like an SV shock to me, anybody know what it is?

Don't know much about upgrade shock designs, might be a bargain for someone.

God knows what it's off but the spring rate looks way too low for a curvy SV. The swing arm end fitting is also not suitable, it should be a fork rather than a bush.

It might even be one of a pair of a traditional rear suspension bike.

+1 Looks like one off a twin shocker

I've just sent the seller a message advising him it's not from an SV and listing it as such is deceptive to unsuspecting buyers.

Buyer beware, anyone who is looking for a shock will have found pictures on another auction, or will have looked at their own bike to see if it looks the same. Seller should remove the auction though, as it's just going to be pain for him, it either won't sell because he can't find someone daft enough to buy it, or he'll sell it and have to take it back, and he's damaging RW Motorcycles reputation, makes it look like they don't know their rsss from their elbow.

Ha ha, just seen this post.
I bought this shock and didn't really look at the picture, when I got there to collect it said "this isn't off an SV" the bloke asked if I had been e-mailing him telling him it wasn't off an SV. I replied "NO" and he siad "well it is, it came out of a box with SV bits on it". I left it there and went home!

Guilty as charged. I emailed him, he told me the same to which I added it says OXO on buses but they don't sell it. To be honest he didn't seem that bothered but he did say that he had ammended his Ad.
