Moto GP seems boring after TT
I'm still watching it now but does anyone else feel it's a bit dull after the excellent TT racing ?

Moto 2 is still exciting though.Premier class is dying just now through lack of numbers and too much cost.

Re: Moto GP seems boring after TT
You don't always get the sense of speed on the track that you did with the TT coverage. I must confess I was just waiting to see who fell off today. Rain usually ruins races. I nearly dropped off myself.
Simoncelli is always worth watching for one reason or another. |
Re: Moto GP seems boring after TT
The crashes in the wet were defo the only highlights tbh, I still would like to attend a GP race though at some point.

Re: Moto GP seems boring after TT
The numbers are so disappointing. 15 starters so you just have to finish to get in the points (obv not that easy today given the good british weather). Something needs to change imo. Hope the re-birth of the 1000cc's will change things but I doubt it. World Supers was much more interesting.

Closed circuit racing and road racing are so different that for me they cannot be compared. Each has it's own plus's and minus's. For out and out cojones, the road race boys get my vote every time.

Re: Moto GP seems boring after TT
I've just got back too, and yep I think the rain dulled the racing somewhat.
Best / closest / most exciting race I saw all weekend I reckon was the Triumph Triple Challenge on saturday evening, there were only a handful of us left in the grandstand because most folk had gone to gawp at the motoGP riders waffling on a big stage... |
