New Beowulf ordered - AND FITTED BY ME!

I just ordered a Beowulf Warrior in black for my K8 - in celebration of nearly reaching the 8,000 mile mark on my 3 year old bike.

It's being delivered to Rictus' house and now I just have to work out
1) How to get to his house without sat nav
2) How to fit it without chipping my nail polish or accidentally chopping my bike in half

Beware of small women with access to big power tools!

1 Google maps .then stick the directions in a map pocket .
2 your going to have to get the power saw out.
I used my car exhaust cutter but the stainless has dulled them allot.otherwise you could have borrowed it .
Mac tools don't pop in till Tuesday.

Re: New Beowulf ordered

This sounds like a conversation I had with my kitchen fitter when I said that by the time he arrived all the old units would be gone, the new units put together, the electrics and water switched off and made safe and floor taken up.

When he asked how many days Mr LPH was taking off work I laughed.

On the morning of arrival it had all been done - by me. The only help I needed was that the stopcock had got too stiff - but then any woman can have that problem and I simply called in an ex-boyfriend to sort it out.
