Olympic Ticket Pathetic System
 

I applied for tickets the first time around and even had an email to confirm my application.
When i checked online to see if I had got any it said that I had not applied, but I have an email thanking me for my application!!!

Now the second chance for tickets starts today, BUT if you did not apply the first time you are NOT ALLOWED to aplly the second time.

you are better off out of it..I cant believe they force you to use VISA as the only payment system and then take the money out of your account before you know what you have bought. Moreover you don't even know where you are sitting. How they have got away with this I will never know.

I applied for tickets knowing I wouldn't stand a chance of getting the track cycling events I wanted to see.

So I'll go and watch the other two road cycling events I want to see as they are free. The other events I'll watch on TV, it'll cost me nothing except the train to London

I've also been tokd that I won't be allowed to take any holiday during the Olympics or ParaOlympics

Yes and there are lots of other countries that have sold them in the normal manner .

I have every faith Scottish, Welsh and Irish people could however organise a pi$$-up, we don't even need to be in a brewery :drunken:

Missed out on the track cycling tickets that I really wanted but did end up with tickets to the beach volleyball.

I cannot believe people actually want to waste good money on this over hyped event. Nobody I know is prepared to spend the stupid amount of money it is costing just to be in a position to attend an event, never mind but a ticket as well.

Far better watch on tv in comfort, free of charge and actually be able to see it all properly.

I work at an Olympic venue and we have archery. For 6 weeks I may not even be allowed into my own office and my employer is saying the during the actual event I may be made to take all of my annual leave. This seems very unfair as that is my busiest time of year so I need to work and I don't want to be taking my time off in the middle of the Thai rainy season when my plan was to go back there in February.

Is it too late for them to give it to Paris?
