SPOLIER Assen GP

Was brilliant to finally see Ben Spies win his first race. You have to feel sorry for lorenzo but maybe its not is year

Colin's front tyre looked a bit shagged at the end ;)

Simoncelli needs a good dressing down.

This is starting to get old.

This weeks crash was down to good old fashioned plain stupidity.

Lorenzo is also starting to annoy me with his hoiler than thou attitude.

Not sure I agree with the Simmo bit here - he's hungry for it and pushes hard which I think is great to see. This week's crash was a racing incident more than stupidity in my mind. What I'd hate to see is Marco and eveyone else descend to the humourless whinger level that "some" of the top guys have become.

I think Marco's crash was just bad luck, however as soon as I saw it I just thought "of all the people for that to happen to, it has to be the guy with the worst reputation in the paddock".

In the very least, and without sounding too cynical, at least it provided some entertainment in what has been a very VERY dull season of racing in motogp.

It was however great to see Spies take his maiden win; I'm a big fan of his and he has masses of talent - a future title contender for sure.

And of all the people to take out, it had to be Lorenzo lol.

Can't wait for the handbags to be flung about!

But I agree, Tia getting boring. Falling asleep during most races.

Exactly! The whole thing was just bad luck that happened to involve all the wrong people.

Same here, although I managed to stay awake through Assen as I wanted to see Ben create a little bit of history, and Lorenzo was making an impressive angry surge through the field.
