Bike Oil or Car oil
 

When I had my sv I ran the thing on 10-40 semi synthetic oil from partco.

essentially it was for cars, bit it met the same criteria as bike oil but didnt have "bike" stamped on it and as such was £12 for a bottle not £30

I have just noticed I have filled the ducati with the same oil, but I am supposed to use fully synthetic oil in the bike not semi...:rolleyes:

will this make much difference?
