I have tried to use the search feature to find the answer to my question however have not found a reinforced answer. Question is:

I am currently have a restricted lience(33Bhp) , however with the new legilsation will be lience still automatically upgrade (after the 2 years which is up in june 2013) or will i be subject to another theory and practical test?)

As Im a tad confused

I remember seeing a post about this "new legislation" the other day but it's disappeared and I can't see it anywhere... also interested in the answer to this question...

as with most new legisalation it only comes imto effect from the date its enacted
so as with minibus entitlements previous licence holders will have "grandfathers rights" to carry on as though the old rules were in in use, eg people who had a driving licence before 94 kept there d1 (minibus) entitlement, new licence holders post 94 need to do another test to get it, the same most likely will apply to the new A (motorcycle) legislation
