protection of signed helmet??
hello mighty org!
Just got back from snetterton where wifey got her arai walker rep signed!:p Now, how do we protect that so she can use the helmet or am i going to need to buy her a new one.:smt120 Any ideas ? Thanks |
Re: protection of signed helmet??
find an old helmet, find an identical pen, write on it, then try various laquers/nail varnishes that don't destroy it when applied. Of course you could ring arai and ask them what is safe to use, they probably get asked the question all the time....

Re: protection of signed helmet??
designed specifically for arai - works wonders Garry's got it on his Guy Martin signed helmet
http://www.invisiblepatterns.co.uk/h...film-arai.html and he doesn't have an arai - just used the pieces to cover what he wanted. |
Re: protection of signed helmet??
I'd say get a helmet and keep that one safe.
The first time I met Guy Martin I didn't have anything with me for him to sign so I got my helmet signed. I then got Conor Cummins and Ian Hutchinsons signatures on it. As soon as I got home I bought a new one so that one was safe. I take it to the TT with me every year now in it's helmet bag and have since got Jenny Tinmouth, Cameron Donald, Gary Johnson, Milky Quail and John Mcguinnesses (went round to his house for that one though :p) signatures on there. No chance that helmet is ever going on my head again :) |
Re: protection of signed helmet??
Thanks for the replys:D
After having a chat we are going to get her a new helmet as if she crashed in that one she would be heartbroken. So its time to get the credit card out!!:help: |
