Not the best weekend
 

Went on a track day at Mallory with a few people from here on Saturday, last lap of the 3rd session I highsided coming out if Edwinas and broke my collar bone. Bike is pretty messed up but haven't had a chance to look it over properly as it's still at the track. Helmet and gloves ruined leathers scratched but should be ok.

Sunday I managed to put my new Samsung Galaxy S2 mobile phone in the washing machine and now it wont turn on.

So overall a pretty expensive weekend, especially as I had 2 more track days booked this month and I still need to workout how I am going to collect the remains of my bike from Malory.

Mrs is now adamant I am not allowed to buy a new bike, she wasn't too pleased I had a bike in the first place but even so I doubt I'd be able to afford to get back on the road for a year or so anyway.

Ah well I suppose it could have been worse.

glad your ok pal well not to hurt !! what a S***ter of a weekend though, Why was you doing washing with on the sunday after a smash on the saturday.

Mrs = Washing, Cooking , Cleaning , wiping of your ass. ect ect :)

Well it was the Mrs who put it in the washing machine but she has been quite helpful so not gonna complain about her too much.

Just had a call from a mate who can pick it up for me :)

I would be crying as well if my ride was binned, but at least you are OK (relativly) to tell the tail.
Bike can be repaired or replaced, people can not.
OH will get over it in time & with a few carefully placed bunches of flowers.

That is a big time downer, stuff the phone, BUT THE BIKE..noooo.

C'est la vie, but don't let her draw the line under getting another bike, hang in there!
