nitromors on alloy wheels
got some car alloys that need stripping, i thought nitromors but apparently its not recommended, can anyone shed some light on this?

Re: nitromors on alloy wheels
I used it on sv fork lowers to no ill effect. A cast alloy part same as wheels.
Maybe someone else can shed light on why not to use it? |
Re: nitromors on alloy wheels
I've used nitromorse on the SV wheels to not much effect, had to get some proper badass stripper to get the paint off the rims for polishing.

Re: nitromors on alloy wheels
I've used it on fork lowers also. Im sure people use and youtube throws up vids of people using it or something incredibly similar, yet trawling google (closed the page now ) its says its not recommended

Re: nitromors on alloy wheels
I would say Gunk engine desgreaser.
Stripped a layer paint and polish from a caliper with it |
Re: nitromors on alloy wheels
So the general consensus is I should go for it?

Re: nitromors on alloy wheels
Get it done me old. Just make sure that you wash it off properly when you have finished, or it will tarnish the alloy. :)
