Re: motorbike alarm???
I think the general opinion is that you will spend more money on the alarm than you will every save in insurance premiums.

Re: motorbike alarm???
I'd just buy an alarmed disc lock instead of fitting an alarm. Mine's got got a Thatcham approved Datatool alarm fitted but it doesn't make the insurance much cheaper tbh.

Re: motorbike alarm???
Don't insurance demand a certificate showing it's been installed by a professional so you have to pay the full monty?Moral being don't bother and spend the money on petrol and riding it.

Re: motorbike alarm???
I think the immobiliser is more important than the alarm itself. Maybe something like this if you find somewhere local. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...m=170411324275
I got mine as part of the deal when I got my new SV a couple of years back. |
