Apologies if someone else has already flagged this or if I'm breaking a rule. I had to return a leaking jacket to HG today and noticed on their website that there are some pretty hefty clearance discounts off Gore Tex (and other) kit just now. eg Nagano jacket down from £250 to £130. Journey Jacket down from £300 to £150 etc.

yup....if it hasn't all gone already. popped in Monday right time right place and got myself a pair of Alpinestars goretex boots half price at 80 quid. My boots have split so I needed some....Peg needed some too, but they only had my size left!

Some real bargains to be had if you can get them quick!

Fancied a pair of the journey Gore-Tex trousers down from £199.99 to £99.99, but didn't have my size left :(

Just so you know, if you order from the German (.de) site, they tend to have more stock and it works out cheaper to deliver them from there, than buy them in the UK.

i.e. Journey Goretex trousers

UK=£99.95

GER= 109,95 (99.5 + 10 delivery) Euros = £96,40

not sure if you all know this already but if you are a member of the AA then you can get a not insignificant 20% discount!! hope this helps someone...

EDIT: just checked on AA wensite and appears to be actually 15%....

By "on sale" I mean stuff that is already in their summer sale?
