One piece suit £200 off at HG - ride best buy

Just bought a one piece suit from Hein Gericke for £300. Thought it was a really good price, it got Ride magazines best buy also against Daniese etc.

Page here

Just thought i'd let you guys know incase anyone is interested.

Also what is the general consensus on Hein Gericke leathers, I got told they were pretty good for the price.

Gericke gear is pretty good quality for the price, far better in quality terms than Dainese and Alpinestars overpriced designer label rubbish any day of the week.

<cue the Dainese and Alpinestars wearers spouting off about MotoGP riders wearing it but not mentioning the totally different manufacturing techniques, made to measure for sponsored racers, factories or quality control... or lack of it>

I have crashed in Gericke stuff, well happy with the way it performed. The fit on their stuff is a bit odd sometimes, like the legs of my pants fit my waist, bum, calves and leg length, but the thighs are really baggy... Like anything try it all on and get the best fit.

As far as the fella that altered my HG leathers is concerned, they are the top end of a budget price. HG round here recommend him to their customers if they need work, BUT, he works from home and has seen a fair few set go through his doors.

Only snag he finds is they are made for Germans and their sizings tend to be a bit generous....as far as ladies are concerned.

Funny that, cause my behind ain't the size of a hippo, and I'm half german.....my suits German, and I had to have the bum shrunk.

Anyway....good stuff!

Yea its a tiny bit big on my bum too but fits great everywhere else, might have to scare myself on the bike and fill it out with the brown stuff lol

Aye, I can't understand where the idea Germans have phat ar$es comes from!
Mine fit perfectly round the waist and leg too, and the jacket....well I obviously didn't get the German b00bies either!

I didn't pay a lot for my stuff at all, and even though I got them altered they still cost way less than new.

Now you point it out, it does have a rather perculiar shaped crotch :)

+1 my leathers barely had a mark on them after a 40 mph slide, they did their job well.
