Power Commander
The bike i am getting currently has one fitted, and i am looking to remove it.
It is a Dynojet Power Commander. it states on their website that you can simply remove the unit and the bike will simply run on the standard ECU map. Any sites/how to's on this, as i don't want to ruin the mapping of the bike or the original ECU TIA |
Re: Power Commander
A power commander simply intercepts the signal between the original ECU and the injectors. Look near the throttle bodies and you will see the original injector harness from the bikes ECU, which will now be plugged into the PC harness, and the PC will be connected to the injectors. The PC will also be connected to the throttle position sensor.
To remove it, simply unplug all the PC wires, and reconnect the original bike harness. This is a very simple job. |
Re: Power Commander
Mike, thanks very much for your answer.
So its basically a case of unplug the powercommander plugs, and reconnect the original plugs |
Re: Power Commander
I'll come and do it for you if I can take the PC with me :p
