This is enforcing why I don't like riding in large groups,not because of the Jack the Lad attitude of others trying to prove something but knowing who should be with you and who shouldn't.

En route to Harwich Sunday morning riding through a village,police with a lazer gun,absolutely no problem,even acknowledged that we had slowed down to the speed limit[nearly]

Difference between a middle aged numpity,or a wannabe and a senior slowcoach being the later myself.---------------:D

Middle aged ( that's if I make it into my 90s).
Born again did leve bikes for 10 years .
I'll keep an eye out on the hall mat for any official looking letters .
Ps I'm apt to wobble round corners helps slow me down.

Agreed, they've always targetted 25-45 (ish) year olds. In recent years anyway.

Not sure they could tell how old the rider is, would imagine it's more down to the antics or speed of the group/individual that would attract their attention.
