Bulldog Bash 2011

We got back yesterday evening after a hectic few days and wild nights at the Bulldog Bash, any of you lot go there this year? I did notice a few SV's around and got chatting to the owner of a red pointy S thou.

It is interesting to note that through out the whole event, the Police did not make a single arrest on site, I am guessing that they were busy else where! The Speed camera set up about half a mile away though was just down right mean, damn mobile camera van sat there with a gimp at the wheel. :smt088

Here is a Facebook link to some of our photos

This thing though was incredible, zero to three hundred miles per hour in heartbeat! :smt003

Watched a Blue Pointy S blasting up the track a few times, getting some very respectable times too. :D

As a first time experience, it was a good one, the food court though was hugely expensive, at one of the vans we paid £6 for a hog roast and what we got was somewhat small! Lesson learned, we headed off site to stock up and had a lovely lunch in Stratford. :-dd

The canned chilli had the desired effect, but thankfully the toilets were very clean! Waking up at five AM bursting for a wee was harsh though, pulling boots on and then the five minute walk to the loo with crossed knees was like torture, next time we are camping a little closer to the loos. =;

We had a great time, along with about 50 000 other people! Mind you, the music was not to my taste... :smt088

I thought that the FB link was fully open so anyone could view it, but if that is not the case, have a gander at these.

Hope that helps, although the thread will probably need to be moved to the Picture side of things now (Please oh lovely and cuddly Mods?).

This was my first ever Bulldog Bash and to be honest, it was lovely. Every one we spoke to was an enthusiastic biker who was there to enjoy bikes and have fun. We saw no trouble at all from any one and as far as I know the Police did not make a single arrest. :smt023

With in five minutes of parking, a lovely Gentleman asked us if we were in need of herbal supplies or Invigorating powders! We quickly shooed him away though, with that sort of thing not really being my scene. :smt033

The toilets were cleaned twice a day making morning ablutions an almost normal event and not the mound of poo horror that you see at some festivals! :puker:

Went to visit my girlfriend, and she lives on the main road leading to the Bash. Wow, I loved it, bikes everywhere! Even when I fell asleep at hers, you could still hear bikes rumbling away in the distance, great to sleep to, even though she might disagree haha

Its well known that the organisers of the BB do their own policing, less hassle for them to have the boys in blue nosing about

If you want a more in-depth write up, have a look at our Blog. It is a funny thing, but it is a hard trip to write up.

BB is to big and far too expensive
tbh i dont class it as a proper rally any more
like farmyard and even storming is going to festival like

on the other hand PIL rally is fecking awsome as are most of the smaller ones ,bridge rats, millenium, moddy doo's etc

you havent rallied properly till youve done PIL
