It claimed a biker a couple of weeks ago and is under investigation. The rider was doing well under the national speed limit and was simply touring. "
Also watch out elsewhere for grain spilling from trailers - just like ball bearings!

Wasnt there a case in yorkshire a while back where a resident, sick of the 'menace' of bikes howling through his village, putting tacs and nails in the road? Nearly killed a biker in the process when he had a blow out

Didnt you know that every single biker is a wreckless teeth gritting physcopath only intent on causing chaos and distress for those contributing members of society? Any harm caused to us, be it actual or prospective is completly admissable in court - we dont even qualify for human rights.

Owenski = Getting increasing beat down by the attitude of none bikers, towards those that do. Its a mode of transport FFS.

I was warned before I started going greenlaning to expect some abuse from fascist dictator rambling types. Still stunned me the hatred some of the wackjobs had for us though. Smile politely and say you have a good day now, really pi$$es them off :smt043

Me and ralph have had a couple of issues while green laning but we are respectful when we see others or come by peoples houses.
We stop and talk to some and they don't see a face normally behind the visor, especially middle aged blokes like myself, takes the wind out of their sails tbh.

In fairness the times we've been out we haven't seen that many people about, we see more horse riders than anything else which we always get a wave from as we let them pass and give them a few minutes to go before we carry on.

The farm s***e is bad in that area (along with most of Northumberland at the minute)

I've only had a couple of run ins, and 1 came about because 2 knobbers had taken their bikes on a trail with a TRO in place. Then theyd been abusive to a group of walkers who challenged them. We then bore the brunt of it when they came across us (quite legally) in Grizedale Forest.

Took our helmets off, pointed out we were decent people all members of the TRF, and our group consisted of a chartered accountant, a stockbroker, an IT bod and an engineer so not exactly scum of the earth (well maybe just the 1st two ;)) and we offered to reeducate the pair of douchebags if they gave us a description :smt021

I think they went away with a much better view of us lot :)
