Blown curvy SV engine - K3> replacement possible?

Evening all,

Nearly ready to drop the engine out of my SV to discover how bad the problems are. Considering buying a replacement engine in the meantime.

I assume with K2 and before engines it would just be a straight swap, but I wondered if a K3 onwards unit would fit and would there be much more work involved in installing it (looms and things?).

Oh, and any suggestions where to buy engines, new or used?

Any advice would be gratefully received.

Fitting a injection engine from a Pointy into a Curvy. I think the general concensus is that if it was easy, everyone would be doing it?

Here's an engine, seem a bit pricy, but its from a curvy, so a straight swap for yours

To put pointy engine in curvy;
change inlet stubs, rotor, stator, block oil cooler and PAIR system.

You can keep it if you want but depends what exhaust you use, some will hit it.
