Thats a bit harsh to be honest.

At that speed I generally just pull alongside and frown a bit.

Suprised you got a tug at that speed, most cops aren't that bothered at that speed, hardly reckless speeds is it, depending on conditions obviously.

On the M1 today between 8am and 10am, I had the cruise control set at a steady 90 (kph of course!) and I was treated like an annoying old granny lane hogger from the M6/A14 junction all the way to the M62 at Leeds. Middle lane not catching anyone, constant flow of cars coming past at 95/100 and every time I did catch someone and moved out into lane 3, I had someone up my chuff swearing at me to get out of the way.
