Stompgrips?
Has ne one used stompgrips? I am looking something to protect the paint on the tank. I have seen the film and stuff but would prefer it pre-cut.
Saw stompgrips and they look reasonable. Ne advice? |
Re: Stompgrips
They are excellent, they really do what you are meant to

Re: Stompgrips
I use tank tredz which work a treat albeit you have to get them from abroad. I cut them to size as they didn't make them specifically for the SV.

Re: Stompgrips?
got stomp grips and have them fitted. Seem great just need good weather to test them out

Re: Stompgrips?
I had them fitted to my ZX7r track faired road bike and on the road they really aren't needed. On the track is where they come into there own. If you never had to steer the front you could quite easily let go and just hold on with your legs there that grippy. If you just want to protect the paint clear film would be a cheaper option.

Re: Stompgrips?
Hi, Re: Stompgrips for protection. I have just fitted universal clear stompgrips to my 2001 red curvy.
I had clear plastic fitted but was scratched within no time as I ride in muddy rigger boots, work trousers with cement and mud on the knee pads! I find the stompgrips keeps my workpants and boots from any contact with the tank and the frame and thats why I bought them. On a plus, they give more control and less strain on the wrists and arms. Anyhow, here are 2 vendors for both plastic (Ventureshield) and Stompgrips. Privacy Window Tinting – Car Window Tinting specialists. Tint your car windows with style. motorcycle performance stomp grip traction pads - Go Faster Bits – Motorcycle accessories for road, race and trackdays |
