Just got my renewal in......

Managed to clock up 5 years no claims bonus......

No accidents in the last 5 years......

No convictions in the last 5 years.......

Not under 25......

And they still want to charge me over £700! Thieving bar stool!

maybe my quote will make you feel better...(probably not but i'll share it with ya anyway :)

last year price with no claims bonus - £400.. one year later with 1 year ncb = £1300 - they are barking mad thieving bar stools....

I know of someone on here who will remain nameless for now, but as sickening as this is - by using cashback sites they were paid 8pence to take out insurance. As in they gave him 8p more than he had to pay....

Got my car renewal through today. Gone up by a small amount. Surely NCB are supposed to bring it down?

For once Alexander has done his job! Compare the Market gives it closer to the £450 mark..... That's honestly the first time that a comparison site has worked for me.

nope, i was under the impression having no claims was that you get discount on u renewal :rolleyes: so had i been a less conscientious driver and smashed my car i'd be better off come renewal? yip, the world has gone bonkers :) :driving: i'll give it a shot and see what they come up with and thanks for the suggestion
