I wouldn't buy that year of Saab, General Motors had let their accountants get too close to Saab at that point at their build quality was nothing short of utter crap. My Aunty had a Hirsch performance Saab 9-3 and that pretty much reduced itself to its component parts in front of her house.

Whats actually underneath that SAAB though, its not a Vectra with a different body on is it ?

SAAB. Except for the small matter of them being likely to go the way of Rover. If you know a good mechanic, the Saab is a nicer car. If you like main dealers to do your servicing, you might be safer with the Audi. Although, obviously, you will then look like a c0ck.
