Anyone keeping bantams?

Im getting 3 point of lay bantams at the weekend and just have a couple of questions id like someone to answer (feeding and coop cleaning) to make sure im going to be doing the right thing.
If anyones experienced in keeping chucks and wouldnt mind answering a couple of questions id be really grateful, thanks xx

I keep 5 hens and a **** on my allotment. i`ve had them for about 3 years so feel free to ask any questions. The most common question asked is, of course- "Do you need the **** for the hens to lay eggs?" (No, but your girls will be happy) ;)
cheers,
chris

Excuse my ignorance as I only know how to cook and eat chickens and eggs, but what does the phrase "point of lay" mean
