Do you have any unusual phobias?
 

Talking with a girl I had just met on a date the other night we got on to this subject and I couldn't help but laugh when she told me she had a phobia of flushing the toilet at night time! she has to turn the light out and flush then run away to her bedroom in the dark!? LMAO.

My mum has a strange one as well where she's scared of plant roots, like any plants that had them showing she would have me chuck them away or cover them up, and once we went to a tropical rainforest thing kind of like the Eden project and she needed her hand held over this bridge because there were roots to the side of this bridge then she refused and had to go outside. LMAO

So have any of you guys got any strange ones?

My wife shares her phobia with Homer Simpson. She's afraid of sock puppets!!!

I used to work with a woman who had omphalophobia - which is a fear of belly buttons. If you pulled up your tshirt while standing next to her and she found her self close to your exposed belly button she would faint!

My friend has a fear of strawberries. Something about the seeds being on the outside :-?

I have a fear of getting caught.

Fortunately alcohol cures me of it.

Long tunnels or being underground e.g. Tube or something like Mnt Blanc Tunnel.
All to do with mining incidents in the past.

lol, the toilet flushing thing is a bit weird but then again i have a fear/phobia of seeds that fit snuggly into a pocket like a pomegranate - or walnuts - i can look at them out of their "pockets/coverings" but freaks me a bit as they are .. i know, weird! (i know i not alone with this one tho cos i've read of other people who it bugs) :)
